Uh, the CBAA, the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia, announced the finalists for the CBAA Community Broadcasting Awards this week.

It's all about financial education.

We broadcast locally on Radio Northern Beaches and around Australia through the Community Radio Network, complements of the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia.

I'm really proud to say that we now syndicated over 15 radio stations across the country, and I'm hoping that reach will continue to grow.

It's always lovely to hear from our listeners in regional areas of the country.

There was a recent Monash University report that went around that said that community radio brings in about $153 million annually to the Australian music scene.

And there was also a report I saw from the CBAA that says that about 25% of Australians over the age of 15 tune in every week to community radio.

which is huge numbers so what do you think makes community radio in australia so unique and alluring in particular to how it like bolsters the local music scene and platforms homegrown artists
