Common Criteria

But instead of letting them test your specific product, you let them test your processes so that you get a confirmation that the processes or the quality management system that you use inside the manufacturer, that that process is guaranteed to lead to a compliant product, which can be useful because then you don't need to have this notified body involved every time you change the product or for every individual product.

And then finally, there's a fourth conformity assessment module, which is based on the EUCC, so EU Common Criteria certification, which is where you take a product and you get it certified under this EUCC scheme, and then that certificate also counts.

And the way that you can think about that last option is that it's really type approval on steroids.

So it's Module B on steroids.

So yeah, that is something that we are working on.

In fact, we have prepared a full evidence package for Common Criteria, which is one of these certification methods that is European-wide.

And what is needed is that the certification institutes themselves are ready to certify quantum technology.

They're not ready yet because they have no means to check it.
