He has a Substack called On Data and Democracy, where you can get a lot of this information about the political fundraising industry and the consultants behind it.

His latest investigation is called Hook and Squeeze: How Democratic Consultants, Committees, and Party Leaders Built a Fundraising Spam Pipeline That Funnels Money from a Captive Pool of Elderly Donors into Their Own Operations.

And, and this story is not just a story of, like, sad, you know, s- scamming old people, which it is definitely that.

It is.

Right.

And because I, because I named names, uh, there were a number of, like, groups that we had to reach out for comment to.

Um, one important group was the DSCC and the DCCC, so the Democratic Campaign, uh, C- Congressional Campaign Committees.

And, uh, so we had reached out for comment to a, a number of people, got a lot of pushback, um, a lot of personal attacks, which I was like, "This is fine." [laughs] Uh, not, not too surprising.

I know what.

Let's have a committee.

Maybe we should follow the International Committee for Weights and Measures, or CIPM, which adopted the GIGA prefix in 1958 and said, look, you can pronounce it GIGA or GIGA, whatever you like.

I'm not sure we should listen to anyone who says that Committee for Weights and Measures should be abbreviated

CIPM.

That would be carrying things too far, remarked one of the other packers, who didn't believe in extreme methods.

Um, he's kind of tied this issue to birthright citizenship.

Um, that's got the attention of, uh, Chairwoman Lois Kolkhorst, who heads up our Health and Human Service, um, Committee in the Senate.

And, uh, so there has been a debate here.

Um, you know, the focus has been on, uh, definitely national, um, you know, kind of foreign interests.

I also serve on the board of directors for AETA, and I chair the education committee, and I'm a member of the promotions committee.
