You know, I moved in a, uh, in this neoconservative social circle.

You know, I wrote a lot for Commentary Magazine and, uh, you know, other, uh, publications in that genre.

And my own sense of, you know, who I was, was very much shaped by the approbation of, you know, people that were also in that movement.

And that's what made it hard to break with them because it means, you know, not just, um, uh, changing policies, but it means changing friendships.

And yet it is almost impossible, especially on the college level, to play a college football game in the southeast in August or September where you're going to have constant thunderstorm possibilities.

By the way, I mentioned this among hundreds of other facts in a cover story that I had been asked to write for Commentary Magazine, which is supposed to be out on October 1st.

I don't know what the title is going to be, but the subject is the wussification of American sports.

And so I'm really looking forward to that coming out.
