Commander Cody

She assumes something different.

So when she's asking him what books he read over the summer, he's like, oh, I just played computer games like Commander Cody versus the Android Lunatic.

He goes, Don Quixote and Moby Dick.

That sounds great.

Same thing.

I was gonna be Captain Rex, she was gonna be Commander Cody.

It was gonna be really cool.

But, uh, we got... [laughs] She got...

But we have seen some prototypes of Darth Maul and Obi-Wan, but there are some new ones.

So I don't remember if we had seen Commander Cody before, but Cody is here.

We do have a new block.

He's doing champion class Commander Cody, which is pretty cool.

And he's even got the little, you know, the hologram of Palpatine on there.

And so and of course, he's gray.

That's trust, coordination, and the bond we've built over years of fighting together.

Commander Cody approaches, his white armor bearing the scars of countless battles.

Generals, we'll drop out of Havis space in approximately three hours.

Latest intelligence reports suggest Grievous has established his command center on the 10th level of Pow City.

Approaching target level.

Generals, droid patrols are heavy, but we've got clear landing zones on platforms 7 and 9.

Cody, take your men to the upper levels and seal off the escape routes.

We can't let Grievous disappear into the tunnel systems again.

But not everywhere did the order strike true.

On Utapau's cliffs, Cody received the order, Palpatine's voice chilling and sharp, but then another signal broke the static.

Uh, so when I show up with the Sheraton pad, you know that I haven't slept a whole heck of a lot and I've been thinking about stuff.

So I got a couple things that I wanna get into today, and I think the number one thing, I'm gonna ask this for the change-up, I'm gonna ask you, Commander Cody, I'm gonna ask everybody, what's the number one thing we've learned this season? What is the number one thing we have learned? And for me, it's what we're seeing right now, 'cause we know we have a core.

Unfortunately, everybody's injured, right? When you start thinking about, you got Shea Langeliers behind the dish, you got Kurtz at first, you got Wilson at short, you got Sody in left, you got Butler in right.

You thought maybe Denzel Clark in center.

He will be here in 2028.

I would say the Black Series one they just did, he uses at least the front, or I think he uses all the

torso from Commander Cody.

So now that we

just had a new Commander

Cody, we're one-tenth

of the

way there.

I do know in my own head there's stories that could be told.

For example, I would love to see a story between Obi-Wan and Commander Cody, the Clone Wars captain that betrayed him.

like after like the order 66 happens, that's kind of interesting to see what we want meeting like Cody long time after, because Cody hasn't appeared much in the media, even in the animated stuff.

he was a bad batch he kind of left the empire during bad batch we don't know where he went at this point i think there are stories you could tell that would be engaging i don't know if that's the kind of stuff that would be way too inside baseball absolutely could be for sure but i think a lot of the clamoring for season two is basically we have a guy like ewan mcgregor who is universally beloved as obi-wan and he wants to do something so why can't we do something

Which is fair, but my follow-up question is then, do we really need to go back to what this Obi-Wan series was? Because again, were there kernels of goodness in there? Sure, but I think the general acknowledgement is that overall it was like, why did we do this? You know what I'm saying? So like, you still want, I'm fine with you using you in and, and, and, and, and bringing, you know, Obi-Wan back into the fold.
