Comedy Bar

Yes.

I- it's JFL Toronto time, which I didn't even know, and I was at Comedy Bar, and he was there with our friend Chris Locke.

Yeah.

Hanging out.

That's all I really have.

So, yeah, it's one show tonight, two shows tomorrow at the Comedy Bar in Danforth, the Danforth location.

Am I saying that right? Danforth.

Yeah, Danforth location.

And so I basically was going from headlining clubs coast to coast, even through the Arctic.

And then I was basically only doing like five minute unpaid spots or 10 minute spots at a place called Comedy Bar in Toronto, like every week.

once i would get on once a week and i would only be getting five minutes ten minutes and the only way that you would get onto shows is if you were like friends with somebody i couldn't get booked outside of uh toronto i used to work on the road like every weekend i was always in toronto and i just was like accepting that about myself i forgot who i was i forgot that i am a good comic.

I forgot that I am a headliner.

I don't know what Jay thinks about it, but- I love it, too ... we love that room.

So then the next weekend we'll be at JFL Toronto doing, uh, headlining sets at the Comedy Bar, tag it shows at the Comedy Bar.

So much fun.

24th and 25th.

Rice.

We want to make sure that a man approaches Gazelle at Comedy Bar in a violent fashion, by the way.

Oh.

oh even if we even if we don't do it people are like they'll find me they'll find me and say something deeply upsetting yeah for some reason be so

Last night you did a character show, right?

I did a character show, yes, in Toronto at Comedy Bar.

It was fun.

I brought back a character that I premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2025.
