But Hardcore has quite a lot to deliver to you this time around.

Hatebreed the icons Who now arguably Are bigger and more legendary than Just the last time they released a record about five years Ago one of those cases potentially I don't know how much of a stir a new Hatebreed record Could or might make but They do have a new one out today which is called Fatal Paradox there's also speaking of 2000s legends of hardcore Comeback Kid we've got their new album as Well which is called Chosen Hell And then on the newer front newer upcoming Buzzy hardcore band there's Cosmic Joke With Suburban Decay Over into Deathcore we have Carnifex One of the great noughties Deathcore band Still holding it down Carnifex have got their album More Than Misery Then we have Absolute Power Which is a new Old like trad heavy metal style Supergroup that has a whole Bunch of names involved with it I know one of them is Shane Embury and I know that another one is Tim Ripper Owens so a whole bunch Of folks involved with Absolute Power Doing some again proper I mean, you can look at the album cover and it just tells you exactly what kind of heavy metal it is.

The album's called Needs Must When The Devil Drives.

Into the underground cult of Luna are going to be leading the way today with their new mega album In The Shadow Of Your Shadow.

Like it's cool.

Not, not, not even just like CBK, but like just, you know, I see people wearing, um, bands hats or t-shirts that i like and they i just never would have expected them to be into that like pre pre-pandemic you know so were there like a lot

of bills that you guys were on where like you guys might have been like excuse me sorry like the hardcore band on the bill like you guys didn't get the reception you guys probably anticipate it

We have, that happens all the time.

And that's, again, kind of like a mid-tempo like ass-beater.

Okay.

You know, so we wanted to, we definitely wanted to have like the kind of signature CBK sound kind of as one of the early on singles before the record.

But I digress because we are here today to celebrate a man that is a friend of mine and is a friend of probably many of yours.

His name is Andrew Neufeld from Comeback Kid.

Comeback Kid is releasing a new record called Chosen Hell.

Very, very soon.

We're talking about like the next couple of weeks.

If you are not aware of them, please just do yourself a favor.

pop on any of their records obviously there's the classic wake the dead but then uh their newest record has some singles out i will obviously play a little bit of that as we head into the interview with andrew but uh comeback hit is so incredibly consistent and energizing and engaging as a band they are in many ways like a perfect amalgamation of what quote unquote old school hardcore is with melodic hardcore.

Like they just put all of it in the blender so perfectly and I love Comeback Kid.

They're opening for somebody on the West Coast.

Not Comeback Kid.

I think it is Comeback Kid, actually, yeah.

But that's that.

And all the set times got rearranged on Sunday.

Comeback Kid was supposed to play earlier in the day, and they're closing out the show, and I didn't get to end up seeing them because my buddy and I, he wanted to go, which bummed me out because I would love to see Comeback Kid.

And this is, This is a real thing, swear to God.

I've never really given Comeback Kid a fair chance.

I know some songs, but despite being one of the greatest Canadian hardcore bands of all time, or at least I'm told that, I don't know that I feel that way necessarily.

But it's a band that I've never listened to more than just a couple songs.

But I was like, man, I got to just like, I don't want this to be a bank thing now where I got to dodge this thing.

But no, yeah, no.

But yeah, Andrew and Comeback Kid, great dude who I had no idea was like in this like band that like so many people look up to.

Like, yeah, he's on Hardlore the other day.
