Combat uniform

So it's a niche period, not necessarily... as attractive as some of the later war stuff uh that in 1940 dunkirk period is is is quite different

so in the book you kind of like highlight that with the the kit and equipment side of things you know they're in the the the old pattern um uniforms in the original manuals aren't they with the with the field caps and stuff rather than you know yeah we we've used the battle dress etc

With all these books, we've done that series.

We've used reenactor photos to bulk out the book for a couple of reasons.

So the group that we worked with on this one, Spirit of Britain, this is then specialist area.

they do cover off different areas, but this period of the war is absolutely their specialism.

And you can see that they're wearing battle dress surge.

They've got early mark one, uh, basic pouches, they've SMLEs, all of that stuff, gas press arts and, uh, and things that really early war that you don't see every day either.

In Illinois, my show is from the communist state of Illinois, Behind Enemy Lines.

You see I've got Abe Lincoln and Military Fatigues, which are representing, well, when I first started as parents, but it's just living in Illinois.

We're like fighting behind enemy lines in this communist state.
