Mary Minus Biddy, age 105, was born in Pensacola, Florida, 1833, and raised in Columbia County.

She is married and has several children.

For her age, she is exceptionally active, being able to wash and do her housework.

He overcame this handicap, however, by setting up huge scaffolds in the field, which he burned, and from the flames that this fire emitted, he could see well enough to do what was necessary to his farm.

The master's first wife was a very kind woman.

At her death, Mary's master moved from Pensacola to Columbia County.

Mary was very active with the plow.

"Columbia County advances $17 billion data center deal." Now, uh, you have expressed in the past you are bullish on data centers as long as they meet certain conditions.

Does this deal meet the conditions, uh, that would qualify for a good deal?

And as I was reminded this week, you know, if you only listen to the loudest voices in the room, you would think Columbia County is falling apart.

You think the schools are slipping, that taxes are crushing people, the commissioners have sold the farm, and that me, your county manager, I'm packing a suitcase to leave this place or jump off this sinking ship.

None of that's true.

And the people that are angry do.

And that's just the way we work.

You want to remove property taxes? Get a data center in a town.

Columbia County, Georgia.

It's nearing a deal with Google that would nearly double its $25 million property tax revenues to $40 million, allowing the county to end its residential property tax thanks to massive data centers.

Also, another fun side quest item that I came across this week.

Nearly $24 million will go to Emory Healthcare for pandemic-related costs.

Columbia County will receive more than $10 million for debris removal.

FEMA is also providing separate funding for hazard mitigation projects in Georgia, including resilience planning in Chatham County.

A former Georgia Southern University administrator will receive a quarter million dollars to settle a lawsuit over her firing.
