Columba Marmion

And so Abba Agathon recognizing, looking towards the judgment in saying that...

In Blessed Columba Marmion, on his deathbed, the same thing.

People were like, Father, you've done so much.

You've directed so many people.

I think it's a lovely one, particularly to bring up with the children and particularly for grandparents to bring up with the grandkids.

And then on the 3rd of October, on the Irish calendar, it's the Feast Day of Blessed Columba Marmion.

Columba Marmion, of course, is a Benedictine associated with a monastery in Belgium.

Just give me one second.

He was born in Dublin in 1858, ordained in Rome in 1881.

Roman Catholics, we often call this deification or sanctification.

Mystics like Columba Marmion, by the way, would even call this divine sonship.

And I'm bringing up Columba Marmion right now because...

He actually described his encounters with God as flashes of light.

But anyway.
