Right, and I think schematically with the offense...

They went too – we all know the Phil Longo experiment did not work, personality-wise, scheme-wise, everything.

But I think that was such a diversion from what Wisconsin can be successful with.

I think Jeff Grimes in this offense is enough updates or enough kind of bells and whistles that will satisfy maybe the younger creative player that wants to do something a little bit different than maybe the Paul Chris offense, but at the same time is going to lean on what they can do and do well.

So – I think schematically, they have to keep a quarterback healthy.

Maybe that's a good thing.

And that being said, as long as you can continue to fundraise, things don't look too bad for Wisconsin right now as a whole, as an athletic department, right?

Well, it depends.

I mean, for my reporting, it seems like there's not a lot of faith in the push that they made financially for football this offseason to be able to sustain and not only that, just grow.

Because that's the problem with the current system in college sports is that This number that you need to spend every year on your football team to be competitive doesn't flatten ever.

It's just gone up and up and up since NIL really came about.

And then obviously with RevShare coming in, that's jumped it up another big chunk.

And Wisconsin spending as much as they can in terms of revenue sharing, it's just trying to generate those third-party dollars that go from theoretically businesses and your donors to your athletes.

How do you see so far early on moving forward this season and what needs to happen for that level of belief and or stability to come back to this program?

So how do you look at this as a projective season to say success, failure, mediocrity, Greg Gard's resume is great in the regular season, Big Ten wins, things like that, but in the tournament it's not great? I mean, ultimately, where are you judged?

Yeah, exactly.

You get judges about your tournament resume.

If you look at Tom Izzo, obviously he's won the Big Ten numerous times and always has a competitive team, but he's Mr.

March, right? He is a team, he's the guy that gets maybe lesser Michigan State teams compared to his entire run to the Final Four somehow.

And I think if you're a college basketball coach and you just kind of look at what resume would you rather have, like a Greg guards or like it is though, where you make these incredible runs and maybe you didn't have great regular seasons.

You'd rather have the March runs that people remember.

I don't know how great and crisp you're going to be, but what did you make of it?
