Colt Python

Yes, I do.

I went to the Tampa Gun Show and purchased, I was looking for the, uh, Colt Python stainless four and a quarter.

Mm-hmm.

And found it.

Uh-huh

... um, at 100.

And with the, uh, C- Colt Python, let's just say I'm not a, uh, a revolver guy.

I'm

getting engraved, I'm getting a Colt Python with some of the straight classic late 1800s engraving.

Like, you know, the true cowboy look engraving.

If I'm going to do engraved.

has a bio in, I think, 110.

And it lists the Colt Python revolver as her favorite sidearm, favorite sort of personal weapon.

And that's interesting.

Like nowhere else did I ever pick up that Lady J was a revolver gal.

It needs to be a fighting weight, which generally is a mid-size, 3- to 5-inch, 4-inch being the main thing, fighting revolver in a mid-size frame.

And there are a lot of really good mid-frame, K-frame, L-frame Smith & Wessons or like a Colt Python classic fighting revolver.

The Smith & Wessons classic fighting revolvers and their copies thereof like a Taurus or copies of those.

Fighting medium weight revolvers.

You don't have to justify your gun purchases to me.

Get one and enjoy it and have fun with it.

If you want a Colt Python because you've always wanted a Colt Python and that's super effective on the Walking Dead Hollywood thing and you just want that and you want to put up a zombie target at your indoor range and shoot it with a Colt Python because it's cool, I can't really quantify the cool factor for you.

You get what you want and have fun with either one of these.

Other words, you could use a GP100 Ruger, which has been done.

You could use the Python.

I- is anybody making a revolver for that, or are you gonna have to have a cylinder made up for you?

Right now, you ha- nobody's making a revolver.

You were going to be like, you might have recognized that that's not a gun of the era.

I don't know if you would have said it's a Colt Python.

think there's something similar in one of the notes or one of the reviews.

And chances are, if you have purchased a custom 1911, it has some Cylinder and Slide parts inside of it.

And maybe if you had a custom Python, somebody worked on it, you got Cylinder and Slide parts in that as well.

Well, I was able to catch up with Bill.

Honestly, he's probably at the end of making these 1911s.
