Colorado Springs Airport

This week on Springs and Things, we're taking you behind the scenes of the newly renovated Colorado Springs Airport.

We toured the stunning updated concourse, tried the cashierless grab-and-go convenience store, which was wild, and we learned you can stroll the terminal with a drink in hand.

And that is just the beginning.

This airport is insane now from all the renovation.

The only thing that sucks about it is,

wait for it, is that when I go to other airports, like I treat it like at the Colorado Springs Airport and I have missed flights because I'm like, oh, I'm so used to being spoiled here.

Oh my gosh, I was so nervous when you said that because I was like, Lauren, Aiden is right next to us.

Don't say anything bad about the airport.

So Colorado Springs, we're working closely with Colorado Springs Transit, something they're excited to do and they're committed to doing.

is an express bus from every train that comes into Colorado Springs to the Colorado Springs Airport.

Now, if you take the train up to Denver, you get up to Denver Union Station, all you have to do is go over to the next platform to take the A train out to DIA, for instance.

So those are a couple of last mile examples in those communities.
