Color rendering index

It controls whether the light feels warm, or cool.

The second is CRI.

That's the color rendering index.

It controls how accurate colors look under that light.

They'll just feel like something's wrong.

Keep your color temperature consistent across a single space.

Now the second number, CRI, which is the color rendering index.

If color temperature is about how the light looks, CRI is about how everything else looks under that light.

I mean, we would love to be involved with the color quality discussion, you know, because with our product, that's one of the things we do really well.

which gives you kind of the best of both worlds.

You can have the higher white CRI, higher CRI with white LEDs, roll in red if you need to, right? So there's a lot of flexibility with RGBWW.

The minimum requirement between 80 and 90 CRI for interior space while daylight on a bright sunny day is considered 100 CRI.

There was a time where CRI was

good enough, but LED technology has a spectral diversity that makes it very difficult to evaluate all of the available products.

What we find over and over again is the desire for increased saturation, especially in the reds and oranges.

It's so repeatable that it suggests that there's probably something biological here.

The good news is that the data that you need to compute CRI is the same data you need to compute TM30.
