This is all of a piece with the crackdown, um, on migration that has gone very much hand in glove with this coalition coming, uh, coming to office.

And with Jim O'Callaghan, it's been the kind of centerpiece of his reform, although I note that Colm Brophy, the junior minister in his department, is more to the fore in this piece, 'cause they're almost kind of fighting with each other, Fine Gael and Fianna Fail, over who can be toughest on migration.

'Cause I think they know that the politics of this are pretty good, and the politics of middle Ireland on this question have shifted in recent, recent years, although it's, it's not as big a story perhaps as, as it was, um, you know, two or three years ago.

Uh, some of the comments coming in, "Our regulators don't seem to have much more than offices and titles.
