You just named some rock stars in our community, and I will make sure those artists are named again in our show notes because it's just so amazing.

I mean, every time you see our artists, whether it's an art show at the Hudson Museum or at the Abbey and College of the Atlantic in the summer, every single time I'm blown away at their creations.

Um, w- are there concrete steps...

Y- you know, you just lay out in your talk, as I said, uh, things that need to happen, but, but what are the first steps on the path to those things? And he's been in touch with Angus King and with Susan Collins, [laughs] who are currently our senators, um, you, you know, on, on legislation.

Uh, the, he was one of the signatories a few years ago, one of those, the pau- one of the many pause statements.

Uh, well, so my background was in, uh, philosophy, and when I got out of graduate school, I was interested in applied philosophy, and I got interested in peace studies during the Reagan era and tried to think about what would a, a culture of peace be like.

And then, uh ...

And I teach at a school for human ecology, College of the Atlantic in Bar Harbor.

Um, it's concerned with sort of, you know, social and environmental problems of all kinds.
