When you finally got your production team together, when was it? And what did you tell them about what your vision for this production was?

So it would've been end of May, May-ish, that we, we put everything together, 'cause we started rehearsals in June.

And so what I've been telling people is that, you know, I've done this before.

It is very reminiscent of 8 1/2, while also being its own thing, 'cause it's, it is a musical, as LaFleur says, and it's so self-referential.

So it does have to follow the book of the musical itself, which is its own thing.

But basically I said, "I've done it before.

This is what it looked like before with everybody in the black and then switching to the white, and we had this very lovely cream-colored set.

What was it about the, the meaning of the show and what you want an audience to take away? Did you inform or talk about the message and the, the through line and what this show is about and what we wanted, what we really wanna hit home to your production team, or was that something you didn't really talk about?
