Colin Turkington

So, uh, yeah, sixth place for the, the Beach Team.

I've gone with the first BMW GT4 that we've discussed of Ernie Graham and Colin Turkington, which has obviously pretty much got a, a BMW factory livery on, um, really.

But one thing that, again, the renders don't see and it's actually even really subtle in person as well, if you haven't noticed it, it's along down by the side skirts, they've actually got chrome, [lip smack] um, which is actually re- I really, really like that.

I think it's very clean.

So, do you know there was a...

Do you know what Colin Turkington's first team was? Legit.

I was eight years old in 2000.

Well, I was ten years old in 2005.

It would be a rubbish edition of the Champion show, uh, on Tin Top Tuesday, powered by Power Maxed, if I didn't have the champion on.

But my final thing that I just wanted to talk to you about is the, uh, something I talked to Colin Turkington about many years ago because, uh, as soon as he had a young family, he brought the boys along to, to the race meetings.

And he, he told me once, he said, "We're making memories, Alan.

We, we, we've got...

That's well deserved, and sad to see Tom Chilton and Sam Osborne leaving us.

They will be sorely missed, but wishing them luck, uh, wherever they head next.

It was also nice to see Jake Hill at the finale at Brands," and I'll add to that Colin Turkington as well.

Uh, "and lastly, a huge thank you to Louise Goodman.

Another legend of the BTCC got four championships as well.

Colin Turkington.

Ash Sutton made it his aim, his goal when he came into the championship to win more than anyone else.

And he's just done it.

I want to win this more than anybody else.

And I remember thinking way back then, that's a pretty tall order.

Because Andy Rousey's record took quite a long time to be equaled by Colin Turkington.

Quite a few years attempting to do that.
