And then also, dude, Let's talk about Cole Strange.

Cole Strange looked horrible out there.

And it doesn't also help that we got a rookie starting center, right? Yes.

It does suck to me that that's where we're at.

i mean i think eddie's jumping on it right there too you know we had plenty of money to spend on the guard position we ended up getting cole strange bringing back pipkins um you know there's a thing about it is like and we'll go over the injury report here in a little bit too and there's a lot more to talk about that injury report and to what Andrew said, Awashika should be playing a lot more in the left guard today.

And Brenton Strange scored last week, but again, the gravitational pull of Parker Washington now has me scared of anybody else.

If I have, if I have Brian Thomas and I thought of starting him, I'm scared of the gravitational pull of Parker Washington.

If I have Brenton Strange at that terrible, terrible position, I'm scared of the gravitational pull of Parker Washington.

I think there's a chance Washington's gonna do double-digit targets, like, almost every week, and that's gonna hurt.

That's gonna hurt everybody.

They brought in a blocking tight end.

for some reason they think david and joker is a better blocker than gadsden maybe he is but like they got another guy out there who they think can block and of course the tackles are back and then you get a cole strange who in theory in theory should run the blocking scheme well and you go get a biadish who i think we're tremendously missing but okay you have jake slaughter and he's athletic and then trey harris can block and you get omari and hampton and keaton mitchell and alec ingold and they couldn't run against the cardinals and i'm as stunned as anybody They couldn't run against the Cardinals in a generally neutral game.

Yeah, they were lost by 12.

But generally speaking, it was a pretty neutral game for them.

He wants to know if we start platooning again once Branson Taylor is back.

So I've gotten a lot of Branson Taylor questions this week.

Would he start over Cole Strange if he comes back? Would he be starting over Kaori Awashika? platoon question here i i don't know i i think branson taylor was never ahead of coyote awashika like i think they were very pleasantly surprised by that um but to me kind of like the pecking order was like slaughter and then beyond got hurt so then it was awashika and pipkins and then branson taylor and cole strange is not getting mentioned you guys like we've gotten i've gotten so many questions about that he was hand-picked by the offensive coordinator and the not expensive edition, right? But like they paid him a decent amount of money to come over and they didn't have to do that.

He did not have any other offers of that kind of caliber.

He's really athletic and run blocking department.

But unfortunately, Cole Strange, the right guard, that's that's the big target right there.

If you're if you're the Raiders, you're trying to exploit that.

and take advantage of Cole Strange as much as possible.

And, of course, on the flip side, it's Mike McDaniel trying to do everything he can to try to cover up that deficiency and try to use the strength of his offensive line, which is obviously his tackles, which brings me to the very next matchup that we got to talk about, of course, is Joe Walt and Rashawn Slater, and most likely, more likely, Joe Walt, because we're talking about that right side matchup.

where that monster with that extra letter X on the end of his name, Max Crosby, is going to be going up against him.

I mean...

Cole Strange got destroyed by Roy Lopez down the stretch in particular multiple times.

The strength bothered him.

He struggles to connect in the run game.

Jake Slaughter, obviously the rookie in his very first game.

And then Cole Strange on the other side.

You know, we talk to these offensive linemen all throughout camp about this Shanahan-type scheme, this wide zone scheme, and just how different it is to run block versus what they did last year with Greg Roman.

And I do think it's maybe a combination of, hey, this is maybe going to take some time.

I mean, firstly, they're not the only two offensive linemen in this game.

I watched Cole Strange lose a lot of pass protection blocks.

But that, to me, really...

It did really probably knock them down a bunch.
