Cole Perfetti

Well, that's a great question.

So the hope is that Cole Perfetti will have a bounce back year.

His whole season, his first, you know, the first four, maybe even five months of the year last year were almost a bit of a write-off 'cause he suffered that high ankle sprain right at the end of the preseason.

That affected him all season long.

That, you know, the hope is that, you know, a full, healthy Cole Perfetti is gonna get him back to that 50, maybe upwards of 60 point range, which would be a huge boon for the team.

Then there's the questions because they have not still, have not, you know, replaced Nikolaj Ehlers, who left of course prior to last year, going to Carolina.

But they have Viggo Bjork.

He was their first round pick.

Incredible first line.

And then your second line is Cole Perfetti, Viggo Bjork, and Brad Lambert.

So here's the thing.

I actually do believe in Viggo Bjork.

Uh, I think this team's fortunes are in, in a little bit of trouble, and it all ties into the goaltending situation, we'll, which we will talk about.

Uh, Gabe, uh, Cole Perfetti, 32 points in 68 games played.

Brad Lambert, only six points in 25 games played.

This is where the trouble begins for me with this team.

And you can do so with other teams that are maybe looking to the future instead of you if that's what you want right now.

And that's the real disappointing part in all of this is that you could have a second line of Willie Eklund, Viggo Bjork, and Cole Perfetti.

And be excited as all hell.

And still have extra draft picks to work with.

He's the face of the crease until further notice.

And up front, Cole Perfetti isn't just fighting for ice time anymore.

He's locked in for five years and $30 million.

That changes how we view the center group.

He has nothing to lose.

Um, uh, in the last past week, Danielle, but like, it seems like, you know, everything is, is, is pointing towards him having an incredible bounce back season.

But, I mean, the lines are, the lines two through four are almost completely wide open, right? Like the first line, I mean, we expect it to be Shifley Connor Velarde or Shifley Connor Perfetti.
