The other thing I wanted to hit on before we wrap up today's show was following that Monday loss, I believe it was, Cole Henry was announced to be waived by the Nationals coming into the season.

This was a guy that you were thinking, hey, maybe close or a late inning back end stuff, and that just wasn't the case.

You acknowledge the team maybe just didn't put him in the best situations to succeed this season, but ultimately choosing to part ways here and move along.

Yeah, so I think Cole Henry was probably going to be designated for assignment regardless given the results this year.

He has to be released for those who don't know because he's on the injured list.

And so that's why the Nationals had to part ways.

And while we're talking Nats relievers, interesting news item on Monday afternoon.

The Nats on Monday afternoon announced having requested unconditional release waivers on relief pitcher Cole Henry.

So Henry is gone from the organization.

Unfortunate end for his time with the club.

The Nats took Cole Henry in the second round of the 2020 MLB first-year player draft out of LSU.

Many of you listening I'm sure remember this.

Cole Henry at one time was a promising starting pitching prospect.

We talked about him.
