Uh, obviously comes out of, you know, the Tar Heels program.

A first round, 15th pick overall NBA draftee only six years ago.

What the hell is he doing in the NBL at the age of 26?

26?And when I meet him, I'm gonna ask him that very question, "What the hell are you doing over here?" Um, but th- th- it just goes to show you how valued the NBL is that a guy like Cole Anthony would rather be here than, I don't know, Lithuania, Hun- Hungary, I don't know.

But this man is still in his prime.

He might not, might not even have reached his prime yet.

But I tell you what, Jase, Melbourne United have a pretty big following up here in Bendigo and, you know, they were out in force for the, for the game against Illawarra, which I might add got a little bit s- got a little bit spicy.

There was some shit talk in between both benches, Justin Tatum, some of the assistant coaches of Melbourne United, and I think even Joe and Cole Anthony got involved.

But, uh, it was a pretty good week.

Of course, Melbourne United take away the, um, Logans Bruton Cup and, uh, Luke Travers won the Ray Warren Medal for the MVP of the Blitz.

Here as well, of course, uh, two new courts just finished as, as well, but, um, you know, a great facility here at Red, Red Energy Arena.

Um, who impressed? First of all, I'll, I'll give you a bit of a head start with this one.

Melbourne United, despite so many outs, especially big outs with Cole Anthony, Joe Ingles, um, you know, Shay Ely injuring himself, uh, in that second game, as well as Sam Wardenberg, they still look pretty good, Jase, and I wrote a little bit of a piece in one of my wrap-ups and I know Southeast said they were the deepest team in the league, or Derek Rucker [coughs] called them the deepest team in the league, but I think Melbourne United are, and I think it's pretty comfortable.

I think the depth this year has got a lot better with teams.

Even close to that trajectory at the time.

Cole Anthony, three years, $39 million.

He's out of the league already.

Zeke Nagy didn't work out.

Josh Green didn't work out.
