Cold Justice

Eight years later.

It's now 2023, and in an unexpected twist, the television series Cold Justice approaches the Anderson County Sheriff's Office with the hope of finally solving the case.

And eight years later, the investigation is officially reopened.

Detective Tyler Duncan is assigned alongside veteran investigator Steve Spingola.

Her supervisors agree to the deal, and Sergeant Marley jumps into action.

She teams up with the TV show Cold Justice, which provides funding for more advanced forensic testing.

Evidence submitted for retesting includes the hair strands found in Kenny Jones' trunk, as well as fragments of black tape that were found in there, too.

Sergeant Marley suspects it's the same black tape found on Stephanie's body, and if it's a match, it could help her nail Kenny Jones.
