Cold Gin

When glam was made safe for macho bros and basic normies.

Some would say that's a bad thing, but when an, when an album that contains timelessly awesome tracks is such as Strutter, Deuce, Cold Gin, Nothing to Lose, Firehouse, and the genuinely powerful Black Diamond.

When an album like that comes along, one can argue that this is one of the greatest debut albums of all time.

He sings in the lower register, however you say it.

while Gene do the high part and I think that's that's such a cool effect and seldom done on a Kiss song so that was the first one that stood out on me for me you just have to edit out that soul in the middle but otherwise it's the perfect song the next one actually I didn't know they got this kind of response to Cold Gin I mean Kind of a not obscure song, but not one of their biggest songs.

And when he introduces that one, the audience goes wild.

Cold Gin.

And it really starts the vibe when you hear that.

And the song is just fantastic.

So I'd have to say Cold Gin and God of Thunder.

But I guess most of them are great.

Kicked off with Detroit Rock City, Deuce, Shout It Out Loud, Do You Love Me, I Love It Loud, Flaming Youth, God of Thunder, Psycho Circus, Shock Me, Cold Gin, Lick It Up, War Machine, Love Gun, and close the regular set with Black Diamond.

So the unique songs in here, I mean, what's a surprise? I guess Hell or Hallelujah was a surprise on that run.

And the s- the, the B side was a Kiss song called Cold Gin.

Wow.

So I was 12 years old singing Cold Gin.

That's awesome.

Um, but yeah.

Singing about booze goes all the way back to the earlier blues recordings, as we were talking about.

The chord structure is very much similar to, like, a blues song, too.
