I think this might be the best wide receiver room, top to bottom, in the entire league.

Kolby Young and Dante Myers both look great in preseason, and so they got rid of some of their old guys.

Charlie Jones has been a returner for them for a while.

I would love to talk about the different combinations of receiver they could deploy.

Um, because I think you could put Kolby Young and Tee on the outside and put Jamar in the slot, right? And be like, "All right, where you gonna shade the safety? 'Cause we'll go, we'll throw it up to Kolby on the other side if it's a bad corner out there and, you know, he can win that jump ball." Uh, I also like the idea of Jamar and Tee being out wide, and then getting Dante Myers in, and you're gonna run a jet sweep with him because, I mean, no attention's gonna be going his way.

Imagine if Jamar and Tee are, are on the same side, left side.

You go three to the left, uh, Gasecki to the right, and you run a jet sweep to the right with Dante Myers.

He doesn't have the lateral explosiveness.

He doesn't have the toughness after the catch either.

Uh, Kolby Young doesn't have that because he's too big, too long, too linear.

Uh, and then Andre Osogbe.

Gets north and south, but laterally gives them something at wide receiver that they don't have.

Yeah, I think it's exciting when you look at the back end of that room to have a player like Myers, the smaller guy, the quick, fast, and then Kolby Young as well, the big body receiver.

That's an exciting duo behind Jamar Chase and Tee Higgins that gives you two completely different aspects.

I think that's something that really jumps off the page with Myers, is what he can provide from that sense that really no one else in this conversation can.

But gentlemen, we begin with the fantastic performances by Bengals wide receivers tonight, Dante Myers and Colbie Young showing out tonight.

And Tanner Hudson had a touchdown, so we come away from tonight feeling, I think, significantly better about this team's wide receiver depth going into the regular season.

I mean, Ja'Marr Chase is as explosive as you get, but Dante Myers coming in and being that role when Ja'Marr can take a break or a new wave of wide receivers is huge.
