In September 2024, 39-year-old Richardson was found hanging in an abandoned house in Colbert County, Alabama.

A state autopsy report concluded he died by suicide.

A private autopsy commissioned by the family found no definitive evidence that he committed suicide, uh, since a bone was missing from his body.

That invention was called the Eye Protector.

Powell Johnson lived in Barton, Alabama, in Colbert County during a period when America was rapidly becoming an industrial nation.

September 24th, he was 39 years old, was found hanging inside an abandoned house in rural Alabama.

Richardson had previously filed a lawsuit accusing the Sheffield Police Department of abuse, including allegations that officers assaulted him, denied him medical care, used a taser and tear gassed against him while he was jailed.
