And then you get to ride that.

So, you know, Col de Galibier, Sacalobra, you know, Glenna TV in Scotland, you know, loads of places around the world.

And yeah, they charge you a little bit extra.

Now, Zwift has said to me that basically this isn't where they see the kind of future of Zwift going.

That's the problem with this route is that some of the women, you know, they finally, they're like, okay, we're not scared anymore.

And then the absence of, there's just the Tourmalet, which is in the middle of a stage.

There's no other iconic climbs, no Alpe d'Huez, no Ventoux, no Galibier, no, I mean, big, big, iconic, legendary climbs.

There's none of those except the Tourmalet.

And then also only two climbs in total, just over 2,000 kilometers.

I couldn't find any or not any reliable resource that was kind of giving me a lot of info on the mountains.

I said, wow, it would be pretty cool if I could make something that, you know, for years to come, people can go outdoors, Galibier, Tourmalet, bof, there's the video, it's nicely presented.

So again, it's just like, I just love being outdoors.

I remember when I first rode big mountains, probably 2002, 2003, and I was scared by them.

It's quite nice.

12 kilometers, fairly consistent 7% gradient.

Galibier is a...

The thing you need to watch on the Galibier is the altitude.

Stage 19 a bit, you know, it didn't hurt to be in the break and give it a go, but I knew 19 didn't really suit me that well since it was just a shorter stage.

But, yeah, 20, starting with straight-up Glendon, then Galibier, Sarren, and then last kick-up to Alpe d'Huez.

I think... over 5 000 meters of climbing so solid uh solid day out and yeah that that's just the kind of stage that that suits me a more uh let's say endurance based stage because yeah i don't have the this this punch that that everyone else well not everyone but a lot of the guys have on on these these uh you know shorter stages or or stages with let's say a bit less fat fatigue built up so um yeah this this was my stage really so i mean we we set it up perfect um just to get a lot of us in the break from the Glendon.

So we had me, Davide, Matteo, Bruno.

And they just pulled completely full the whole day until they couldn't anymore.

So for me, it was like sitting in the bunch almost.

And then Galibier, I think it was just Carapaz, Hindley and I.

So already then, I mean, yeah, when you have a break of 30 plus guys and then it's down to four on the second to last climb, that already shows how how tough of a day it is.

... that those guys did.

It's been an ambition of mine for many years, a long time, to go over there, do the Alpe d'Huez, do the Col de Galibier, do all the other cool stuff.

And when you get on it, it's, those rides are harder than you think-

... superhuman those guys are.

And, you know, I do think I've said in recent weeks in relation to, to various things, I think this sport is going in the direction of more circuit races, and there've been some leaks already this week about what Luca Guercilena's first Giro d'Italia is gonna be like, and I think he's, well, RCS are thinking along those lines as well, so you might see the same mountain twice on, on, on the course, on a s- you know, a big mountain stage.

They might go over the Galibier twice or...

That, that'd be difficult to do actually practically, but you know what I mean.
