I became a top earner very fast.

So I had, I worked for a company called Cognex, a bunch of different companies, but Cognex was where I landed at the tail end of my corporate career.

And I was doing almost 200 grand a year there.

We sold industrial automation equipment.

I haven't heard of them, but industrial automation, sure, I'm familiar.

So the eyes of robotics.

I was drinking too much and too often.

I worked for an industrial automation company called Cognex.

Their motto was work hard, play hard.

I used to say work hard, play harder.

AI is touching everything.

A lot of the manufacturers, Keyence, Cognex, all of these guys, they have AI implementations in their vision systems.

The way that it was, you had tool-based, rule-based vision systems.

You would take an image.

What? What? Ambarella.

Cognex.

They make the vision system.

Cameras and software that let a machine see what's in front of it.

look at this and figure out what's the right starting point.

We decided to start with a vision problem, which is taking our item analysis and inspection systems and providing that to partner or customers through partnership with Cognex in order to analyze items before they go into other automation systems.

Because we had developed some unique capabilities around getting item material properties, locating barcodes, being able to read barcodes or read text on those shipping labels, I meant to say, because that's something that I thought was solved, but in sort of a semi-structured logistics environment, turns out it's not totally solved.

So we've got the first deployments of those systems going on right now, and we're excited about expanding to some other use cases.

And essentially, after the car accident, I sort of realized that my external success was what was propelling me more than anything.

NVIDIA says it can deliver the same performance using forty percent less power when running a fifteen-watt mode.

Early customers include Cognex, Deuce & Bobcat, Magic, and Alphabet's Wing, suggesting NVIDIA is positioning this as an affordable building block for the coming explosion in robotics.

AMD is the other side of the AI trade, as I like to say.

Raymond James upgraded AMD to strong buy, pointing to a potential inflection in CPU a- demand and AMD's growing data center opportunity.

I had a bunch, dude, a bunch.

iRobot, Cognex, I had several.

I, boss' boss, and boss' boss' boss, and CEO, and COO, and I was learning from everybody.

I was a sponge in my 20s.
