Cody Ponce

Hey, man, the 2028 rotation, as it currently stands, is going to have three dudes that basically look like Pokemon evolutions of each other.

And Dylan sees Cody Ponce and Spencer Arrighetti.

I think, I don't know, in three years, or two years, sorry, I think Johnny King just probably just gets called up at that point.

At least he's healthy.

What a different world this could have been if you had your, you know, you savaged the whole time if you had Cody Ponce, if you had Bieber.

Hell, even Barrios would have been very helpful this year.

you know, obviously the offense is really the root of the problem of this team, but, uh, like there's a reason we're doing these rotation watches all year because it has been, uh, such patchwork stuff.

But, you know, overall for next season, this team is going to need and they're going to have a very revamped rotation, right? Savage is going to be fully healthy, hopefully, if this surgery went well, which it did.

Cody Ponce will be back fully healthy from his torn, I believe, ACL.

But regardless, he is.

Everyone's going to be good to go.

Um, so yeah, outside of April, he's probably hitting two 30 to 40.

Um, so you take that, but then you also take the injuries, um, Addison Barger, elbow surgery, Cody Ponce in that whole situation and him falling off the mound so early in the season.

And man, it has just been a lot.

It has been a lot.

Sure, I think you can look at it that way.

But where is this team if Cody Ponce doesn't get hurt? Where is his team if Trey Savage doesn't have the knee injury last month? Where is his team if Shane Bieber could have given them a little bit more? Where is his team if Addison Barger isn't gone for the whole season? Same with Anthony Santander.

What if George Springer had a little bit better of a season? What if Alejandro Kirk didn't break his thumb and miss a couple months? I think It's easy to just point at one person, but there are a number of things that happened that kept this team from being all that it could be.

And so I think it's convenient to point at Vladimir Guerrero Jr. I'm sure a lot of people will.

So I don't really blame them because the amount of injuries is kind of ridiculous that they've had to go through this season.

You just go through it, okay? Jose Barrios, Cody Ponce, Shane Bieber, Treya Savage on the mend.

You know, like all these guys.

Jamison Tyone came in and was decent for a little while, and even he ends up with a pitching injury because...

hurt in the ponds.
