I'm gonna start with a couple observations.

First, we invest more, and probably in this community, we invest more in developing great, enduring, evergreen businesses than we do in investing in evergreen leaders.

At least that was true for me and our company until about six years ago.

And then secondly, I believe that the hard and soft skills that go into leadership development are critical, but our ability to have these enduring evergreen businesses are also going to rise and fall on our ability to train and develop the whole person and not just those things.
