um and yeah there's a probably a reason why they can't be much bigger uh on a regular basis but um i i will say yeah i i love the thought of more stories more comic excuse me more comics and and longer comics for sure major story scott yep um hello 610 i'm wondering if this issue had a little inspiration from that one movie that just came out last breaths says bobby wald last breaths i don't think i've heard i don't think i've seen that yet or even know what is that is that the one where he gets eaten by a not eaten swallowed by a um whale but kind of like loosely based on a um a true story sort of situation uh because i i don't know what that's called uh could be though ghost rider with a y says figure six pack that'd be fun um the only time i can think of feeling the hand of the toy line in the joe comics was the back end of the marvel run with the def eco warriors and the new cobra commander and firefly looks totally bad wolf that was definitely a period where it was like we've got new product get it in there so that's what it felt like 100 i mean The comics, like Larry wrote them, they were drawn in a certain way.

It didn't feel like you were being pushed product, but it was done naturally.

New characters showed up.

But yes, everything else is pretty much, I believe, taken from his original card, including the subjects Japanese father and Korean mother owned a grocery store, yada, yada, yada, yada, yada.

So it's very much a, I think the only thing they change, no, I thought they might put like Ninja Force in there somewhere, but I don't see it.

no so again that's pretty much as it were as it was in uh his original car they just moved some of the elements around a little bit moved the the quote they've kind of taken elements away from and put it slightly different place um but yeah that's cool but yeah destros is very much there's a lot of new in there which is kind of cool um and yeah there you go so they've got the file cards the cross cell like i said before gives us a little bit more information here so this is where i was talking about the the poses it's quite funny you look at destro and snake eyes in the middle and to a degree cobra commander but i'll come back to that in a second look at destro and snake eyes almost identical in their posing Cobra Commander is doing a similar thing they are but if you mirror image Quick Kick and Cobra Commander they're sort of doing a similar thing as well the only difference is which arm is kind of doing it so they have they've changed it enough but they've sort of you can kind of see a little bit of a pattern going on here with the kind of posing you know it's funny as well because you kind of think about what's the best way to sort of show an action figure and everything that it really is doing on the kind of card art and to a degree you want to keep it front on so you can see all of the gear and everything right but there are variations of that like flash is one of them um on the cross cell here the fact that he's like side on not showing any of his front at all really kind of just showing off the backpack in a weird way But, you know, you have other kind of characters like that, you know, even Storm Shadow, like Twisted, where he's kind of like, you know, standing on a thing, but kind of aiming his version two Storm Shadow, aiming his bow sort of down on the edge of a building sort of thing.

Like there's loads of different variations in how they do the posing.

I should say, these four top cadre, like generals and admiral, are able to repel all of Cobra.

Cobra Commander and Destro go down in the final straw, but the whole pit blows up, ostensibly trapping both Generals Hollingsworth and Hawk and Destro and Cobra Commander.

I think this issue is saved by the last three pages for me.

Few things I didn't actually enjoy was the Cobra High Command being there.

The fact that they were in the pit, I don't know why it didn't sit right with me.

initially you're sort of meant to think that it's just the dreadnoughts that are smuggling in these bats and it's like oh my god Serpentor, Destro and Cobra Commander are there as well I don't know why some of the scripting it wasn't the my most kind of thrilling ARAR read not going to lie to you this one but I did sort of It kind of comes back at the end and got me back on board.

Like the fact that all of the top brass, you know, you're basically like, oh, God, these guys, they're douchebags, they're douchebags.

Oh, yeah.

Voiced him, Cobra Commander, and so many other iconic characters.

Most things, they do lines individually, but with this, they would line them up so they were all in the same room doing their lines at the same time.

So we can probably assume that that is all happening again.

you know pattern wise i think we could safely assume that we're looking at two target exclusive ninja force figures here a target exclusive tiger force jinx which we'll talk about a little bit later and that four figure wave of flint jay baroness and the snake armor rock disguise which is kind of cool uh rusty says that destro is killer if target is going to be putting these into the classified line i feel lacking by not getting the previous ninja force um well i don't i don't i i'm not sure if you'll see these in classified um i'd be i would love it i think they'd be really cool these two and the snake eyes and cobra commander but i feel like they're definitely more super seven coded in what they're doing they're pushing it a um and i think you know yeah i think there's a lot of ninja force that need to get done i would say before we start getting you know like these guys or whatever but i love what super seven are doing and if we do get this eventually in classified i'd be well up for that too so um yeah but good point it's shogun destro is what i've kind of been calling him a little bit as well i like that scott yeah kind of how we've been talking about him sort of you know in groups and what have you um james has got my triple t and the camera ball and the two small black guns are missing No way, that sucks.

Hopefully they can sort you out, James, as in Hasbro customer service, because that sucks, mate.

Otherwise it's just, you know, a box on treads that can't see anything because obviously the driver can't see anything, can they? Anyway, yeah, so these two figures look phenomenal, I have to admit.

The Snake Eyes and the Cobra Commander opened up a little bit of a door for Super 7 to kind of push it a little bit, sort of add something to the ninja force in Cobra Commander.

and also basically do their own take on a Snake Eyes.
