Well, a bloke in northwest New South Wales has just been charged with allegedly stealing more than 1,200 kilograms of copper wire from a mine near Cobar.

and selling it to a scrap metal yard in Dubbo for about $7,250.

The cops say the alleged thefts happened on a Wednesday and Friday night in August between 1am and 2am.

And then some bigger areas like Orange, Gunnedah, Tenterfield, Cobar, among some of the top 10 increases statewide.

If anyone would like to come and live in the bush and be a vet, it's a great job.

Whilst it's green and full of wildflowers now, and in fact the whole of the Outback, you know, that this trip we just did from Cobar right up to Birdsville and back to Sydney, it was just green and wildflowers all the way.
