But I just want to give a special shout out to Trim Celtic, who played Coachford from Cork in the FAI Junior Cup semi-final.

They were the first team from Mead ever to get to a semi-final.

And we're bidding, obviously, then to become the first team from Mead to get to an FAI Junior Cup.

Those claims were a penalty, but it was a brilliantly timed tackle to deny him getting a shot away before he actually got an equaliser in the 94th minute.

Then in extra time, Brian Faulkner had an opportunity to win it for Trim, but he hit the butt of the post as well.

It just wasn't to be for Trim and Coatesford where Trim missed their first penalty put them on the back foot straight away, scored their second one, then missed their third one, and Coachford just scored all four of their penalties, first four penalties, and win 4-1 on penalties.

But look, it was a journey they can be proud of.

While Coachford from Cork defeated Trim Celtic 3-1 on penalties.

After that, tie finished 1-1 after exit time.

So it's Coachford and Evergreen in the FEI Junior Cup final.
