Worker representation on corporate boards of directors

It is a subset of capitalism, and I should note it is already standard practice in Germany.

Under German Mitbestimmung, the board of directors is split into two tiers, the management board, which runs the company day-to-day, and the supervisory board, which makes major strategic decisions.

German companies that have more than two thousand employees are mandated by law to allocate half of those supervisory board seats to employee representatives.

The chair of the supervisory board is selected by stockholders, and that means practically speaking that it's sort of fifty percent stockholder, fifty percent employee, but the, the chairman is selected by the shareholders and therefore if there's a split decision, the, the tiebreaker vote goes to the shareholders in effect.
