Um, so, so it was actually, if I can share that story, the-

Yeah, no, I think that's important.

One of the things that I think you pointed out is that 11,500 seniors are on a wait list just for a first CLSC home care visit.

That strikes me as extraordinary.

I mean, catastrophic that there should be that many seniors on a wait list just for a first home care visit.

Why? Well, it actually does four different jobs.

And here we learn those with the acronym CLSC.

So why is CLSC easy for me to remember? I attended and later taught ground school in Quebec, which has a system of government-run community health clinics.

The Quebec government loves long titles, and so these are called in French, Centres Locales de Services Communitaires.

That's a mouthful, so everybody calls them the CLSC.

For the functions of oil in an aero engine, CLSC stands for cools, lubricates, seals, and cleans.

You may have only known about the lubricating function, which is admittedly the most important, although all four functions work as a closely linked system.

But let's jump on that one.
