Cloud-based integration

I'm managing director and co-founder over at Flowgear.

We are essentially Africa's first iPaaS platform, a bit of a mouthful integration platform as a service.

And what we do is help companies to automate integration of their data across their different apps and services so that they can streamline things operationally.

Well, thank you for joining me today.

We pitched at that and we won for the enterprise category and the prize on that was doing a trip to Silicon Valley the following year and that was super fun.

Around that time, we also got into Gartner's radar.

They were starting to track this new category of Cloud-based integration platforms and what came to be known as iPaaS, which of course was their term.

We had some early validation around that.

We've got a big differentiator or USP in that we support about 60 API standards in the telco space.

Globicon holds a diamond certification for our API standards that we support on our iPaaS platform.

That puts us in the space of only a handful of systems integrators or vendors in the telco space.

and we're the only South African company that holds that level of certification.

What do you do in that aviation sector? Yeah.

Yes, we were fortunate again with influence from South African, a specific South African well-known CEO in the aviation market that asked me to go and present at a conference of this NASDAQ-listed company.

And we signed an OEM agreement with them to unsell our Orca iPaaS platform to the low cost carrier base as a cloud native solution.

And it's outright data and analytics and AI platform.
