But the textbook hints that attributing OCD entirely to a serotonin deficiency is a massive oversimplification.

The textbook also highlights clomipramine.

It's an older drug, a tricyclic antidepressant, but it holds a special place in OCD treatment.

Clomipramine was actually the first medication proven to be effective for OCD.
