I don't know when you were playing, but over Christmas as well, there used to be a game every two days.

And I was lucky again to play Cliftonville Crusaders, and that one was different away at Crusaders because they were so close to you.

They were nearly on top of you, so I did take corners.

It's hard to say but either way it doesn't look terribly good for Mr. Lynch.

Yes, a theory has been presented to me that if Magilton was to move on, perhaps Taylor Lynch would be a candidate for the Reds.

They're targets to win the league and, that's you know if you can go out there and you can score a goal off a corner and probably evidence as well of goals across the pitch because Aidan Wilson and Glenn Thorne was a real threat in those situations as well.

All types of goals in that game and another really interesting matchup was Carrick against Glyffinville potentially a key game in this mid-table scrum early on and yeah like Carrick You're starting to maybe worry, are they going to be able to hold up their end of the bargain from their own bright, impressive start? It doesn't help when you have players like Jimmy Gallagher and Paul Heatley suspended, but that back line looked as though it was held together with tape.

uh like i don't like bbr was put at left back kim nelson i think maybe joe crow as you set their back pairing who was caleb hawthorne before he uh started and uh played uh from the off there right back for carrick and final got the goal brilliant hit from Aidan Steele one of the more underrated midfielders in the league they take the early lead then Cliftonville bounce back get a goal from the corner and then eventually won 3-1 I mean like so far they haven't been able to get have Cliftonville like that top end kind of scalp like they'll be delighted that they've got this you know gem they may say and then Ben Quinn and what a great start to his Cliffordville career he's had another nice goal for him and then their third from the free kick it's it's it's looking like they're going to have a very positive campaign are the Reds

yeah I've been impressed by what I've seen from Cliffordville particularly on the ball I like how they knock it about very good their bowling side and the new signings have made a difference Ben Quinn has has set the ground running Dean McMaster, he's been one of the pick of the players that I've watched this season.

He's such a clever footballer and I really would think about keeping him for another year, certainly.

I would imagine the regular starting football at Cliftonville would be a more appealing option to him than Derry City.

Would it? You never know.

Maybe that's just... blinders on from what he was last year but two very well taken goals and two goals where he used that physicality as well as the poise to just fire them home he could be potentially on the start of a really good run for the Reds and I think they would like to have, I think every team would like to have an on-fire striker but Cliftonville they've needed a player like him to kick on for a while now

So, yeah, look, he'll be delighted.

They obviously got off the mark and, as you mentioned, two great finishes.

And, as I say, whether it be, you know, Corey and whether you be a Lama Valley fan, Portadown fan, whoever it is, you can't have enough goals in your team.
