And, you know, I think doing this tribute for him to Emma was a very beautiful thing.

Honestly, it was really cool to hear from the former players and, it was really cool to hear from obviously people that we know nowadays here too in Nashville, but to hear from, you know, Kimo Tiemann and Scott Hartnell, Cliff Ronning, and, you know, to hear Willie, you know, tell me the story about how Brent used to behave, uh, in the radio booth as well.

Today's discussion will be with Cliff Ronning, a guy who, uh, was a fan favorite for the Vancouver Canucks.

Grew up in the area, played for the New Westminster Bruins in the Western Hockey League.

Uh, did not get drafted by the Canucks, got drafted by St. Louis, but eventually ended up in the white, black, and the angry skate of the Canucks and Pat Quinn in the early '90s.

But to me, uh, his ability to endure on the ice, uh, with the size that he was, uh, spoke volumes to his will, spoke volumes to his skill.

He was an amazing player to watch, and in so many ways was an offensive catalyst wherever he played.
