Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine

My name is Daniel Antonieta.

I'm a neurologist and professor of neurology at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine.

I see patients at the Mellon Center for multiple sclerosis treatment and research.

My research focuses on imaging biomarkers for multiple sclerosis, specifically applied to clinical trials and for diagnosis.

And this institution became part of the AAU in 1969.

What's also very interesting is we are two medical schools, the Western Reserves Medical School, and then we have the Lerner College of Medicine over in Cleveland Clinic that sits as part of our accreditation.

So we are very partners.

We are the Switzerland of medical schools here in Cleveland because we have faculty at Cross the Street University Hospital, which is a separate nonprofit corporation.
