But then later in life we got Clemson with South Carolina.

We've got Florida State with, was it Alabama? So, um, yeah, there's, there's some d- hell, Tennessee, Georgia Tech, that's not an easy one.

Uh-

So you got to see the warts, you got to see what they did well.

So I, I think it's, I think it's just easier to make those reactions, you know what?

That's why people were talking about LSU and Clemson, right?

Yeah.

And then met another couple.

They li- um, they were over by Clemson, they said.

There's a lot of either California or North and South Carolina that we met.

Yeah, so many people.

That's one of the things that I have enjoyed so much about covering soccer is the kind of worldly experiences that players get.

Sometimes in football or basketball or whatnot, a guy might grow up in Clemson, South Carolina, play at the University of South Carolina, then get drafted by the Atlanta Falcons, and maybe they don't see the world as much through the game.

Soccer players do, though.

I mean, you get opportunities to see I mean, almost everywhere.

That's right.

And as if week one wasn't enough to talk about, imagine if you're in Clemson, South Carolina today.

We've got week two with a lot of more appealing games.

We'll get to that a little bit later.

Western played a lot of zone and kept everything in front.

Michigan couldn't get behind anybody.

All right, what do you see happening this week with Brent Venables? He is not headed back to Clemson to take over the Tiger program before the end of the year.

That will have to wait at least until the end of the season, if then.

We talked to head coach Chris Stone, who complimented Kingston Bibb in that running game, but also Jace Grass, Trey Wembley, South Carolina's number one receiver in the class of 2027.

He's committed to Clemson.

They kind of woke up last week.
