The, the TSA doesn't actually know you have Touchless ID until you opt in with your airline when you're flying.

Uh, and then finally there's Clear, um, Clear Plus, which is the other security line that's usually staffed with those people in the blue blazers.

There's always people standing in front of those funny little blue, uh, face scanners too.

It's just another pre-screening tool you can use to get through security using your face as an ID.

It's very nice.

I have it, but it costs $219 per year for an individual and $135 per year for all other adults in a family plan.

For this reason, I would not use Clear if I didn't have it covered by my American Express Platinum card every year.

Uh, you can also get it covered by the Hilton Honors Aspire card, and if you're a top-tier invite-only elite with United or Delta, it's also covered.

And we're even ripping apart the IPO prospectus of an aviation security company called Clear Secure Inc.

You know, it's just such a, a transformation.

And I, I thought it was interesting, the Wall Street Journal did a story where they reported that TSA is considering allowing more access to the gate for non-ticketed passengers.

However, it hasn't been a problem.

Now, the next thing is CLEAR, and CLEAR is not a government program.

So TSA PreCheck and Global Entry are both government programs.

I did forget to mention that Global Entry also comes with a small driver's license size ID.

But if I did ever have to prove, I like knowing that I have a system in place for that.

And that might just be me, but I do like knowing that.

So CLEAR uses your biometrics to verify that you are who you are.

So there are kiosks at major airports.

Well, in the shorter term, with Labor Day weekend fast approaching, there are ways to start your luxurious travel experience before you even get through security.

I'm talking about those airport line-cutting programs like TSA PreCheck, Clear, and Global Entry.
