Clavinet

Ever since I heard Superstitious by Stevie Wonder.

I've fallen in love with the Hohner Clavinet.

It's got to be one of the funkiest instruments out there, which makes this one of my favorite tracks by Xiaô.

That is Chega Mais.

You know, I ran – actually, now that you mention it, I don't remember who sent it to me, if it was Chris or if it was Chris Hannah or if it was Chris Brown.

But I got the isolated Clavinet tracks from Potemkin.

And I think I got it from Chris Brown and sent it to Chris Hannah.

So Chris Hannah might actually have that.

We called it funnily enough because, you know, there we had a lot of stray cats and that we fixed and fed.

But yeah, so I recorded it at the cat house in Brooklyn.

Okay, so I know that you're accredited with Clavinet and Hammond, and you're accredited on Fixed Frequencies, Bringer of Greater Things, and Iteration.

Do you remember what you played on each one of those specifically?

Um, I mean, all just-- obviously just kind of a perfect record.

But, you know, as a keyboard player, it says, you know, Herbie Hancock plays Fender Rhodes, Hohner Clavinet, ARP Odyssey, ARP String Ensemble, et cetera.

You know, and you're like, "Oh, that's what that sound is.

How do I get that?"
