Classical republicanism

You know how I identify? Because I'm very against labels because I'm against sectarianism.

But usually when someone asks how I identify, I usually say a socialist Republican.

And by Republican, I don't mean like GOP, but like a classical Republican, which is kind of like a kind of classical liberal.

But, you know, I also like, I don't think the classical liberals quite got capitalism right because they, you know, it's what Marx is for.

It's what Marx critiques them for, and rightly so.

Marx is a Republican.

People always forget that.

Anyway, it's been a very great conversation, man.
