Listen, how excited are you to be in town for Alumni Weekend and to be back at Soldier Field with some of your guys?

Well, you know, it's always an exciting time, and it's going to come down to the wires to whether I get a chance to be there or not.

My son is coming in town, and so we're trying to work that out.

get it, man, but I didn't get to bed until like 2 o'clock in the morning.

And, you know, it's alumni week, so if you guys need to get some interviews with some guys, some older guys, whatever, you know, they'll be around.

Can you let us up in the

suite this time? Because we were knocking on the door last week, and you didn't even pretend like you didn't know us.

And so Love is a Contact Sport, my pitch for that is it's a Black, queer, second chance, college reunion, male-male contemporary romance novel.

And it follows two people who knew each other 20 years ago when they were in college.

One was a college basketball player.

And they had fun in that single room.

But it didn't work out at the time.

And 20 years later, the two characters encounter each other at a college reunion event where they're both getting awards.

And they hear all these great things that each other has done over the past 20 years.
