Clarence B. Jones

The FCAS has spent enormous amounts of money on high-profile pro-Israel advertising campaigns, including producing numerous ads played during successive Super Bowls.

One 2024 commercial features Clarence B. Jones, the former advisor to Martin Luther King, who drafted his famous I Had a Dream speech.

Jones' message is that there is a growing tidal wave of racist intolerance in America.

Not from the likes of Trump, who Kraft donated $1 million to win two in 2017, but against Jews.

And I encourage everybody to go luminescence.

Anytime you can sit in a church and I don't look, it's either whether it's St. Patrick's or Riverside, where I went last week when I went to the memorial service for Dr. Clarence Jones.

Yeah.

You have reflection and you have that time to really understand the power of us as Christians are pulled together, you know, due to the force of Jesus Christ.

Well, you know, when Alex just, uh, cued in the, uh, the Grateful Dead music, I just wanted to, um, say, you know, you work for people, you get to know them really closely, but then you never really know, um, something about them.

This weekend, on Saturday, I had the honor of attending, by f- family invitation, Dr. Clarence Jones' memorial service at Riverside.

Mm-hmm.

What a beautiful service it was.

Mm-hmm.

But it was a beautiful service.

Um, but his son, Clarence Jones Jr., mentioned that he was this big music fan, which we all knew.

Right.

And then we have another cathedral on the Upper West Side, but Riverside Memorial.

And I'm going to be going there tomorrow because Dr. Clarence Jones, who is Martin Luther King's speechwriter, will be memorialized.

And that will be an honor and a tribute to be invited to that.

And that that will be very important.

The minister had to get rid of Leveson.

King reluctantly agreed, but he and Leveson remained in touch, using attorney Clarence B. Jones as a telephonic intermediary.

The FBI picked up on the ruse and wiretapped Jones' home in office.

In August 1963, King stayed at Jones' place and Hoover's bugs recorded something unexpected, proof of an extramarital affair that King was involved in.
