She got lucky because it was during the pandemic, so they didn't really have a lot of time to move horses around so they were all in one spot which was incredible but what's great about this film it weaves in a bigger story of what's going on today with america's wild horses and the issues they are facing so you get a little bit of everything you get the love the surprise the heartbreak the issues all in one little movie

The way that we found, the way I got involved is that I saw Claire Staples, who's the founder of Sky Dog Sanctuary.

which has rescued hundreds of horses from BLM horses from the slaughter pipeline.

I saw her posting on social media about this dramatic increase in the numbers of horses, BLM horses and burros she was seeing in the kill pens.

And if you're interested at all to s- hear more about that, and the roundups, and just all of the issues with it, and what needs to happen to protect the horses, I would highly suggest watching this documentary.

Claire does an amazing job of, um, explaining it and also, uh, you know, h- having you get to know these wild horses.

Like, she, she and her group have studied every single herd.

They know every single thing about every horse and every family group.

It's very cool, um, and very beautiful.
