Clara Matéo

Fantastic.

Paris FC, Clara Matteo stayed calm, one-on-one with the goalie.

And then...

Then we had this thing where, now, it was a penalty that was given because the goalie, the Arsenal goalie, Misa, kicks it to Leah Williamson to take a free kick.

That's my top and

12.

So yeah, they did come away just with a draw thanks to goals on Arsenal's side from Alessia Russo and Georgia Stanway and from Paris from Clara Matteo.

And Mendy, who scored the penalty.

But, you know, Evelyn Vienne, 29 years old.

Clara Mateo, 28 years old, like that kind of they just play.

They played with no fear in this match.

And I think there's something really interesting about a football club that can go down to nil at home, already know they're going into the match as an underdog.

So when it happens anyway, that's barely forgivable.

Paris get the ball to Evelyne Viens, Arsenal are exposed, and Clara Mateo suddenly has a huge amount of space to run into.

She gets through, goes around Misa, and now it's 2-1.

Watching it back made me think about something that had been bothering me during the game.

You know, Tolaba looked good.

Clara Mateo, obviously.

I was pretty encouraged.

They must be really happy with this result, you know, all things considered.
