Clancy Brown

Well, maybe it isn't the Thrall we all know and love.

This Thrall is not voiced by Chris Metzen, but instead Clancy Brown, aka Mr. Krabs.

Other notable actors are Tony Jay and Peter Cullen, but I'm getting off topic.

Warcraft Adventures starts with Thrall trapped in a prison by Lieutenant Blackmore.

Have you ever seen or heard of this one? I don't think I have.

So it's got Fred Ward, David Warner, Julianne Moore in an early, early role for her and Clancy Brown.

And here is the premise of this.

And the reason I was drawn to this as a as a young 20 something was it was a mashup of genres that i really enjoyed it is a noir detective film mashed up with horror and witchcraft and the premise is it's 1948 and everybody uses magic oh wow except for private eye h philip lovecraft fred ward and he decides he doesn't use magic that's it's like a cheat And so it's got cool like monster puppet effects and funny little background things that are going on where, you know, he's in a nightclub and there are people using magic in the background to like mix drinks or create a flame out of nowhere to light their cigarette, you know, just little throwaway gags that they do.

God.

And it's like Charlie's Angels, and you've got Clancy Brown running the show.

Oh, man.

I looked at IMDb because I was listening to the voices.

and i recognize some of the voices in particular one of the main characters of the story and i want to see if they actually revealed that now because they only had the japanese actors in here right now and it looks they still do have it but i do believe the main character was clancy uh yeah it was uh clancy uh brown I, I, there's nobody else who has that voice in there.

This next guy is named Per Oscarson, and he's in The Terror of Frankenstein, and nobody cares.

In 1985, Clancy Brown, who's the evil guard in the Shawshank Redemption and is the tough drill instructor in Starship Troopers and is in a zillion things, and he's awesome in everything he's ever in, He's in the movie The Bride, and he plays this Frankenstein, which, look, is it the greatest Frankenstein of all time? No.

But I'm going to give them a lot of points for that head scar.

I mean, that head scar would hold a three-day reign.
