So it's interesting, this whole, uh, serendipitous parallel lives that, uh, I was in Clamshell Alliance.

She was in Abalone Alliance, but...

The Clamshell Alliance has put out an alert to a September 30th event taking place where the New England Governor's Conference is going to hold a pro-nuke summit at UMass in Lowell.

It's been convened by Massachusetts Governor Healey, and it is being touted as someplace where, quote, the public can learn more about advanced, that's a propaganda word, advanced nuclear energy Safety, that's a joke, and regional benefits, that's a joke.

The nonviolent protest demonstrators will be gathering at the Meehan Student Center, 100 Meehan Way in Lowell, Massachusetts.

I favor this one for a big reason.

Years ago, I was a protester against the Clamshell Alliance, which tried to stop and shut down nuclear plants everywhere in this country.

After Three Mile Island, they won.

The cleanest and best source of energy was done.

Nuclear power.

And, and now, uh, now electricity rates would be a lot lower if they'd built Seabrook II, wouldn't they, in New Hampshire? They only built the one after all the, uh, hippies, uh, demonstrated, the Clamshell Alliance.
